vintage pair hand crochet multi-color trimmed pillowcases

A pair of vintage (probably 1950s) pillowcases edged with a deep border of hand-crocheted lace of white thread with multi-color accents. Each measures 20 by 27 inches and should fit a standard pillow, although they’re a little shorter than usual. The crochet border is about 5-1/2″ deep at the tallest spot.
These have been stored for years and appear to have never been used. The cotton fabric is white.
A lovely, very useable gift for anyone who loves needlework and vintage textiles! Machine wash on the gentle cycle (hot water can be used) without bleach for many years of delight.
