A pair of vintage (probably 1950s) pillowcases hand embroidered with multi-colored tulips in a crocheted basket, and edged with a crochet border in variegated pinks. Each measures 19 by 31 inches and will fit most standard pillow forms. The crochet border is about 1/4″ deep.
These have been stored for years and appear to have never been used. The lightweight cotton fabric is very slightly off white.
A lovely, very usable gift for anyone who loves needlework and vintage textiles! Machine wash on the gentle cycle (hot water can be used) without bleach for many years of delight.
