A pair of vintage (probably 1950s) pillowcases hand embroidered with 2 ladies in hoop skirts surrounded by flowers edged with a border of hand-crocheted lace of variegated pinks. Each measures 21 by 30 inches and will fit a standard pillow. The crochet border is about 1/2″ deep.
These have been stored for years and appear to have never been used. The cotton fabric is very slightly off white.
A lovely, very usable gift for anyone who loves needlework and vintage textiles! Machine wash on the gentle cycle (hot water can be used) without bleach for many years of delight.
