Vintage LaLame #1-3/4 Smooth metallic in 10 yard lengths, each wrapped around a sturdy card. This size is slightly thicker than DMC Perle 5 and close to Kreinik #16 Braid but slightly more stiff and quite shiny. Best for longer, layered stitches on #12-#14 canvas and long stitches on #18 canvas. It’s also excellent for couching and use as decorative trims, macrame and Kumihimo. LaLame is colorfast and can be hand washed or dry cleaned.
These were manufactured in the 1970s and 80s, so stock is very limited.
