Vintage LaLame #5 Smooth metallic in 10 yard lengths. This size is slightly thicker than DMC Perle 5 and close to Kreink #16 Braid but quite stiff and shiny. Best for longer, layered stitches on #12-#14 canvas and long stitches on #18 canvas. It’s also excellent for couching and use as decorative trims, macrame and Kumihimo. LaLame is colorfast and can be hand washed or dry cleaned.
These were manufactured in the 1970s and 80s, so stock is very limited.
