1/4 skein (5 yards) Overdyed Floss– Needle Necessities #154 Coral Cay or ThreadworX #1093 Ocean Coral. Colors with subtle shading or variations are more suitable than those with very extreme color variations.
1 ball Ecru DMC Perle Cotton size 8 (or Anchor #926)
1 package 2.5mm Creme Round SJ Designs Faux Pearls (33 pearls are used)
1 package 3x6mm Creme Oval SJ Designs Faux Pearls (12 pearls are used)
1 package #779 Salmon-lined Crystal A/B Toho 11/0 Treasure (cylinder) Beads (34 beads are used)
7 pieces 1/16” wide double-faced satin ribbon,* each one cut 7” (17.5cm) long: 1 each Light Pink, Coral, Moss, Rust and 2 pieces Dusty Rose and Peach. Kreinik 1/16” metallic ribbon, Ribbonfloss or 2mm silk ribbon could be substituted.
“Invisible” clear nylon sewing thread (optional but highly recommended to attach the pearls and beads without showing through the open canvas).
Zweigart Sandstone #18 mono canvas, cut 9” by 18” (22.5 by 45cm) was used for the framed picture. Brown canvas is also a lovely option.
