$19.95

Cartier-Bresson was a renowned French textile manufacturer in the 19th and 20th centuries, producing threads for sewing, embroidery and crochet/knitting. To promote their threads, they also created charming small pattern booklets which continued in favor well into the 20th century, the designs adapting to changing styles and tastes over the decades. Alphabets wcontinued in popularity, while many of the motifs and borders included in this collection show the distinct Art Deco influence of the era.

This book includes two large “Les Points de Marque de Modes & Travaux” (cross stitch) booklets from my private collection, containing a total of 32 two-color charts, plus three “Petit Albums” adding another 18 charts. Each is reproduced slightly enlarged for easier counting. Featured are a variety of medium to large alphabets and borders, plus numbers and motifs. As a bonus, two smaller pattern booklets and three advertising premiums are also included.
