I purchased this extraordinarily large German stork scissors in the early 1980s and have never seen another this size. It’s just over 6-1/2″ long; in two photos I’ve shown it next to a standard stork embroidery scissors to give a better idea of the scale. The finger holes are 1-3/8″ by 7/8″ and are a comfortable fit for large or small hands. Despite the size, it’s very well balanced and not too heavy.
It’s in excellent condition and the blades are sharp to the tips. It’s marked WASA Solignen Germany and includes the original protective vinyl sheath.
