c1920 Beyer’s “Book of the Wash” dressmaking with patterns

1920s oversize (11″ by 13″) hardcover book Beyer’s Grosses Lehrbuch der Wasche (Big Book of Wash, or Laundry/Homemaking). “Wasche” doesn’t refer to washing clothes (although there is a small section on ironing and folding!), but more the making and embellishing of clothes and home decorations. Wonderfully detailed illustration of everything from undergarments to children’s clothes, tailored menswear plus several large fold-out sheets with patterns for sewing garments. A page of actual fabric samples is included! 64 pages, lavishly illustrated. German text.

Overall condition is good; cover is worn along the edges as are pages; last few pages are detached from spine but none are missing. Pattern sheets are uncut.
