c1900 sterling silver chatelaine with Roman figure & 3 accessories

$475.00

Late 19th or early 20th century sterling silver chatelaine with a solid waist clip attached to a plaque with a Roman-type figure within a scroll and floral pattern. Three matching chains with figural heads suspend three non-matching patterned accessories– a sterling silver needle case marked for “CS FS”, a scent bottle with fleur-de-lis pattern, and a silver-plated unpatterned heart-form pincushion. Total sterling weight is .845 oz.

11 1/4″ overall height; scent bottle is 3″ long (cap unscrews easily), the needle case is 2-1/2″ long and the pincushion is 1-1/4″ long and wide (the fabric padding inside is worn and soiled).

In excellent condition with the expected minute signs of wear. Provenance: from the estate of the late Joann Bowen.
