c1900 red velvet-covered scissors case

Exceptionally nice late 19th/ early 20th century red velvet fabric covered scissors case fashioned to store 4 small scissors safely and securely. Very sturdy and well made, in excellent condition. The velvet is still bright with almost no sign of wear and the clasp works well. 6-3/4″long by 2-1/2″ across at the wider end and 1-1/4″ high. Antique mother of pearl scissors is shown for scale, and is not included.
