A Stitcher’s Sketchbook
Part of my new Private Collection series, this booklet is reproduced from a notebook full of hand-drawn needlepoint charts and illustrations for embroidery, many taken from antique textiles. Since these are charted designs, they are perfect for needlepoint, counted cross stitch and beadwork. It showcases the pages from an unknown needleworker’s sketchbook created during the 1920s or 30s. The 47 different motifs include florals, birds, insects and landscapes.
A STITCHER’S SKETCHBOOK is a 30-page color book, printed on heavy paper with glossy cardstock covers. Each page has an oversized reproduction of the original sketchbook page.
