19th century antique sterling scissors tip sheath

Small scissors-tip sheath dating from the 2nd half of the 19th century, probably made in England. Marked “Sterling” with a tiny hallmark I can’t identify, it’s unusual in that it only covers the blades of a small, straight embroidery scissors instead of enclosing the entire tool. Excellent condition, the ornate repoussé embellishments show little to no wear or use. Scissors not included.
