1890 antique folio Stickmuster für Schule und Haus (Embroidery Patterns for School and Home) by Dr. H. Schulman; 74 beautifully illustrated pattern plates with 260 charted borders, corners and motifs from traditional sources, all designed for whole cross stitches and backstitches. 12 pages are shown in the photo. Included is an illustrated booklet outlining an instruction plan for students to teach them how to adapt and combine the charts for their own projects. German text.
In very good condition, the cardstock pages have yellowed and age-freckled, and some have discoloration or minor stains. Rare to find a complete set of all 74 pages plus the booklet. This book will be shipped media mail unless Priority Mail is selected.
