Stickmuster Buch (Embroidery Pattern book) #990– a small needlework pattern booklet from the latter half of the 1800s with 10 foldout pages: 5 of blue alphabet lettering charts for counted cross stitch and needlepoint, and 5 pages of red and blue mostly geometric border patterns. Printed in Germany
This is a “leporello” or accordion-pleated style which has a olive-green paper cover and measures about 2″ wide by 3″ high. The pages fold out to about 18″ long. The 10 pages of charts are printed on both sides and are a continuous pleated strip of paper.
Pages are in very good condition with minimal wear. They are all connected to one another at the fold lines, but the covers are quite worn especially along the spine, which has a 1″ tear at the bottom.
