1880s Maison Sajou pattern book #203 with 8 alphabet charts

MAISON SAJOU #203– a small needlework pattern booklet from the latter half of the 1800s with 8 foldout pages of blue alphabet lettering charts for counted cross stitch and needlepoint. This is a “leporello” or accordion-pleated style which has a faded blue-violet paper cover and measures about 4-1/2″ wide by 6″ high. Scissors shown for scale and is not included.

The 8 pages of charts are printed on one side and are a continuous pleated strip of paper. Pages are in good condition with some wear at the lower corner, still connected to one another at the fold lines, but the covers are quite worn especially along the lower edges.
