1880s Overages de Dames published by thread company Cotons L. V. Series A No. 1, a scarce hardcover compilation of the charted designs usually presented in the small Sajou-style paper booklets. 5 inches wide by 6 inches high.
The 40 pages are printed on one side and include elaborate alphabets, lacy and geometric borders and motifs– 30 pages are charted for cross stitch or needlepoint and 10 more pages are outlines for embroidery. Pages are in very good condition, the covers have light soil and wear along the edges. A rare find in this format!
