1860s Berlin Work elaborate scrollwork charted pattern

Antique mid 1800s printed pattern page from The Journal Des Demoiselles magazine with a Berlin Work chart for a large tapestry pattern. The elaborate scrollwork design repeats (half the pattern s shown, the repeat occurs at the bottom with the shield-like motif) so it may have been intended for a small rug or bench cover, or a pelmet. 10″ high by 14-1/2″ long.

Generally good condition, colors are still bright and chart is easy to read. Some damage around the edges but the chart is not affected, although the center fold has split on both sides and is fragile. It has been folded for many years and will be shipped that way.
