2 Edith John embroidery stitches books

2 softcover books by Edith John;  1971 Creative Stitches (112 pages) and 1973 New Stitches for Needlecraft (96 pages) are Dover reprints of books originally published in the 1960s. Both are beautifully illustrated with stitches that can be used for both surface (uncounted) embroidery as well as counted work on both fabric and needlepoint canvas. Many variations are offered for each stitch. Some b&w photos in Creative Stitches.

Very good condition, pages are clean and both books appear nearly new. Covers have very slight edge wear and slight yellowing to the page edges. Sold as the pair.
